CMM’s assessment process helps prospective church planters confirm their calling to start a new church by clarifying whether or not they possess the personal characteristics, experience and competence needed. The benefits of being assessed are many, including giving donors greater confidence that the new church they are helping to fund will flourish.

As outlined in the the diagram below, CMM’s comprehensive assessment process begins with a preliminary self-assessment, followed in most cases by an assessment interview conducted by a GCI-certified assessor. The interview helps the prospective planter identify areas of personal and ministry strength, along with areas where additional knowledge and experience are needed. The assessment team then gives the interviewee an assessment report that summarizes key findings and provides a detailed ministry development plan.
